What kind of pressure can I expect to receive?

The pressure I work with is typically medium to firm. Although ultimately the client has the last say in what pressure they want me to use.

What modalities do you use the most?

I use a combination of deep tissue, Swedish, sport massage and acupressure within most of my massages. I also do prenatal massage and Myofascial release.

What got you into bodywork?

I was born with scoliosis, which created challenges for my height and it brought chronic back pain as a young kid. I knew I wasn’t the only one and I was lucky that my case was not serve, but I knew I wanted to aide people in not feeling the same pain as I do. I found National Holistic Institution and within their neuromuscular program I found a great way to help treat people, and connect with them through therapeutic touch.

​What other elements of your life do you bring to your bodywork?

I love being outdoors, so if not at work I am usually outside taking hikes with my dog. Being out in nature helps keep me grounded in life and helps me listen to clients. Both in what they tell me with their words as well as listening to what their body is telling me they need.
