What kind of pressure can I expect to receive?

I typically work between the medium to firm range but am extremely adaptable to my client’s needs and desires. My favorite feedback I’ve ever received was when my client told me they could feel my feet on the ground like they were tree roots throughout the entire session. Ultimately, I strive to find a level of pressure that is deeply effective, but gentle on the body.

What modalities do you use most?

I approach bodywork with the belief that, as Tom Myers (author of Anatomy Trains) says, “all symptoms are part of a pattern.” Instead of only treating isolated pain, I look at how the body moves as a whole. That’s why I primarily use myofascial release, combined with the principles of neuromuscular therapy and structural integration, focusing on long-term structural balance rather than just short-term relief. My love for anatomy and my experience in a physical therapy clinic have reinforced this approach—helping me see how fascial restrictions, postural imbalances, and movement patterns all contribute to pain or dysfunction. Additionally, I love to incorporate cupping and sports massage techniques!

What got you into bodywork?

My path to bodywork started with a deep love for storytelling and curiosity about how things connect-both in music and the body. As a songwriter, I’ve always been drawn to the way emotion and experience live in the physical form, how tension and release shape not just melodies, but also movement and well being. In massage school, my love for anatomy fueled my curiosity to explore the body’s rhythms, its fascial lines, how the nervous system influences how we feel pain, and that detailed work can create profound change. Bodywork became an extension of that creative process-listening, responding, and helping people discover a newfound sense in their body to establish a strong foundation for a fulfilling healing journey.

What other elements of your life do you bring to your bodywork? I believe that my love for songwriting, climbing, movement, and the outdoors all contribute to the calm energy I bring to my bodywork. Songwriting taught me to listen and to find the story beneath the surface. Climbing has deepened my understanding of body mechanics and has given me insight into the unique demands athletes place on their bodies. Movement and the outdoors are two key elements of my spiritual practice and keep me grounded. Ultimately, I see bodywork as a conversation with the nervous system where patience, intuition, and curiosity lead the way.
