What kind of pressure can I expect to receive?

Deep pressure is where I shine! I can surely use a lighter touch when it’s necessary or requested, but I was trained on advanced neuromuscular massage techniques so I’m very skilled at applying a lot of pressure without ever hurting or bruising a guest.

What modalities do you use the most?

Typically, my sessions are a combination of firm Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point and myofascial release, focused work on troubled areas and deep relaxation. I also use fast and slow vibrations while applying pressure in order to “distract” the muscles and go deeper into the soft tissue with less pain.

What got you into bodywork?

In all honesty, I fell into this profession because I wanted out of my previous job, that’s all.  And then I started doing really well at school and ended up graduating with honors from a very challenging Advanced Neuromuscular Massage program.  So I’m proud to say that I’ve been working for the last 13 years at a chiropractic office and I’ve received countless positive reviews and thanks from many, many, many patients and I look forward to continuing this trend at Strategic Bodywork!

What other elements of your life do you bring to your bodywork?

I have an artistic soul so I’m sensitive and intuitive. This helps me connect with people more genuinely and understand specific requests for pressure or a specific technique. I also workout regularly and have always been a very active individual with a good knowledge of the human anatomy and its dysfunctions.
